Necronomipong
Entry for Themed Horror Jam #15 - Halloween Edition.
Enter the infernal depths of hell itself in Necronomipong, a new take on the classic Pong game that sends you on a perilous adventure through the realm of the dead as you attempt to win back your soul from the demonic forces who hold it prisoner. Using the Necronomipong fight back against the various inhabitants of the underworld in fierce Pong matches, with your soul on the line, to get back what is truly yours.
Controls:
- W - Move character up
- S - Move character down
Coming Soon:
- Hellish Powerups - Hit powerups to unleash the energy within them, providing boosts to health, speed, and damage.
- Animations - Feel the flow and power behind each swing as you watch the characters move, more than just statically.
- Additional Sounds - The Necronomipong will come to life with added sound effects and audio improvements.
- More Horror - Added gameplay elements that will increase both the horror and the tension.

Hey there! This was a chill, nostalgic, and silly spooky version of Pong. Really brought me back to the good old days with Adobe Flash.
I played on Easy, Medium and Impossible. Two notes:
1) I feel like when the pingpong ball returns to play, there should be at least a brief pause when it spawns before it is dealt back to the player. Would help a little bit.
2) I'm having an issue with the controls also scrolling in the window itself as I am playing. Bit of an added difficulty when the entire page is moving lol.
I like the art and music! Well done.

I had considered a delay before spawning, it slipped my mind before the Jam submission time :( But I will make the change ASAP
Same for the controls, I only realised when I played it myself after uploading the browser version to itch.
Silly mistakes, but lessons learnt!
I have made the changes as you suggested!
Hopefully that makes the game more enjoyable and playable!
